  My experience with The Cremation Society of Toledo was not a great one. My mother passed on June 17th. At that time I purchased an urn which I was not happy with which was my own fault. Immediately upon leaving their offices I went online and found one my family absolutely loved and felt was very fitting. They said they had no problem refunding my money. Meanwhile, they were responsible for filing her death certificate with the county. When I received it they reported her middle name wrong to which we had to wait longer as they also had to file a affidavit with the county to rectify the inaccuracy. After several phone calls waiting for my refund for the urn I finally received a check. This check was made out to an entirely different customer of theirs. I had to return that check and yet again wait. Now after a month of dealing with this I received another check....made out to my deceased mother! When your grieving for the loss of a loved one having to constantly deal with their inability to get the small details correct is extremely difficult. I can only pray that the ashes they returned to me are actually my mother.
